To start, flip a chip to determine who goes first.

First player starts by placing 2 chips, lobster CULL face down, anywhere on the board.

Player B follows by placing 2 chips, lobster CULL face down, anywhere on the board.

After this first round is complete, players alternate turns, each placing only 1 chip per turn, lobster CULL face down.

A CULL is when a player traps two of their opponents chips between two of their own chips. The player who trapped their opponents chips is allowed to flip either trapped chip to force their opponent to move that chip anywhere else on the board surrendering their turn.

THE CULL IS THE ONLY ADDITIONAL MOVE YOU NEED TO LEARN BEFORE PLAYING

Player B must pick up their flipped chip and place it in a new empty space on the board, CULL side down.

Player B’s turn is now over. It is now player A’s turn again. A single CULL can change the direction of the game!
